After a long duration, OPR (oleo pine resin) auction was held today at Rishikesh (Uttrakhand), and the following has been the details

Quantity purchased

 750-800 MT (75-80 Trucks)

Crop Period

Around 70% was 2016 crop

15-20% was 2015 crop

10-15% was 2014 crop

Price

INR 55/Kg for 2016 crop

INR 51.5/Kg for 2015 crop

INR 48/kg for 2014 Crop

What is the additional cost on the base price?

  • An additional 2.5% will be the Mandi Tax
  • 2% will be stamp duty charges
  • 0.5% will be Misc Charges

And the most important change will be

  • GST will be applicable on this @ 5% (manufacturers can get the credit of this)

And all the auctions from 12th May 2017 to 26th June 2017 were cancelled.
