GST rate for Rosin and allied Products

GST council at its Srinagar Meeting on Thursday finalized the tax rate for most of the products and has gone ahead with 7 rules out of 9.

GST council decided on 5 categories as expected, they are 5%,12%,18%,28% and exempted goods.

Most of the industrial items are listed under 18% tax bracket.

Here are the tax rates for Rosin and its related products.

• Gum Rosin – 18%
• Turpentine Oil – 18%
• Varnish – 28%
• Binder – 18%
• Rosin and Resin acids – 18%
• Pine Oil -18%
