OPR (oleo pine resin) auction was held yesterday at Nainital (Uttrakhand) and the following has been the details

Quantity purchased

 1100-1200 MT (110-120 Trucks)

Price

 INR 54.5/Kg for 2016 crop

 INR 51.5/Kg for 2015 crop

 INR 48/kg for 2014 Crop

What is the additional cost on the base price?

  • An additional 2.5% will be the Mandi Tax
  • 2% will be stamp duty charges
  • 0.5% will be Misc Charges

And the most important change will be GST will be applicable on this @ 5% (manufacturers can get the credit of this)
